What a response! Over 130 entries were received from enthusiastic monkeys Australia wide. Thank you to everyone who entered the KarriBindi New Release Wine Competition, and a special thank you to those of you that signed up for the KarriBindi E-News. KarriBindi E-news subscribers receive special offers on wine, free delivery and are in the running to win a case of wine every E-News. Welcome to the KarriBindi family.

And the two winners of our new release wines are:

"Lizziemac"; and "whittakerjoz".

Congratulations you lucky monkeys, your KarriBindi wines are on their way. Hopefully you will taste the wines and post your reviews on the site.

For your information the correct answers were:

Karri: stands for Karridale and the Karri forrests for which the area is famous; it also has an aboriginal nyoongar language meaning; tall tree, strong, special, spiritual.

Bindi: comes from the home town of KarriBindi's father and founder, Bindi Bindi; it means Butterfly in the Nyoongar language.

The Nyoongar meanings are represented in KarriBindi wines label design with the shadow of a butterfly (the grape leaf) flying through Karri trees.

Thanks again to all of you, and remember, if you need some fresh, crisp, flavoursome white wines for summer, think KarriBindi Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc; "where quality grapes speak for themselves!"
