The 6th year of harvesting Black Perigord Truffles at Borrodell Vineyard will be celebrated in style, with our fantastic Black Tie and Gumboot Truffle Hunt and Dinner. Upon receiving a warm glass of mulled wine, walk to the Trufferie to see the dogs demonstrating their Truffle hunting skills, followed by a 5 course degustation meal featuring the exotic flavours of the Black Truffle with matched Borrodell vineyard wines in the underground wine cellar. Be entertained by local jazz Trio “Trouble with Johnny”.
A special guest Chef will be coming to join in the fun. Paul McGrath from 2 hatted restaurant Bistro Ortolan in Potts Point. Irish-born, Ballymaloe House-trained chef Paul opened Bistro Ortolan in September 2006 in Leichhardt but recently moved to the Bayswater Road site in Potts Point.
He has been working with Black Truffles for many years, and his restaurant in Potts Point enjoys raving reviews, receiving 2 hats in the 2012 Good Food Guide.
Paul will be working alongside our equally fabulous onsite Chef, the Scottish, French-trained Alan Meaney to present a dining experience which will long be remembered.
