i think we should arrange a boozemonkey tour of the wineries at some point and if its a success , it can be a ritual , varying amongst regions . , a lot of people on here know each other in reality , and those who are virtual can meet... ill bring fancy cheese platters and crystal will bring nice little napkins for the coach!
what does anyone else think?.![]()
What a great idea!! You guy's should all get on the boat (Spirit of Tasmania) and check out the Tamar Valley and it's surrounding area's. We are only 40 minutes from Devonport and you will get too experience true cool climate wines. Fabulous Wines,Food and scenery for a start.![]()

Hope see you.
Fabiola.
That's a super idea. I'm in for sure. Do you think we would be able to get a decent crowd together?
I've been away with mates before plenty of times to wine regions and even though it is fun it would be great to get away with some new people who are into wine.
Tassie wouldn't be a bad place to start either.
Let me know how I can help.![]()
It's a very good idea, and we'd love to be a part… except… anyone fancy popping up to see us– only 500km from Sydney!
I've also been tossing around the idea of a friends of BoozeMonkey wine festival somewhere in the city(ies). Because we're so remote, we normally have to travel to get to consumers. In the meantime, we'd enjoy being part of a winery tour as punters.
Great Idea Lainey.
I'll put my hand up to organise/Team lead an ADL based winery tour.
I have done much the same thing in Clare and the ADL Hills so have the contacts and a few insider tips, when linked with the McLaren Vale Cellar door group.
Easy to do the ADL Hills, Barossa or McLaren in a day....
If the ADL folk aren't keen, then we should head over to SYD or the MEL crew
Yayyy!![]()
