This limited release Chardonnay incorporates select parcels of the finest fruit from the Chalice Bridge single vineyard in Margaret River to form the pinnacle of the Chalice Bridge range – The Chalice.
This elegant limited release Chardonnay from southern Margaret River shows superb fruit weight, with nectarine, white peach and red grapefruit delighting the palate. The wine displays a beautiful balance between the oak and sustained acid to build an attractive textural mouthfeel.
Under consultant winemaker Bob Cartwright’s craftsmanship, the select parcels of fruit are barrel fermented and left for fourteen months in 100% new French oak barriques to develop its superior flavours and produce a truly outstanding Margaret River Chardonnay, with a dedication to perfection second to none.
Only 550 premium lay down six packs have been produced for the 2010 vintage, with every bottle being individually numbered.
A truly magnificent wine, ideal drinking is recommended from 5-10 years, to enable a more rewarding, complex and elegant wine to develop.
