We are a small wine company. There is an Italian heritage within the company and hence the passion to make wines and eat fantastic food.
The team at Cappa Stone are friends that have a long time relationship and love for wine.
Reg and his family are originally from Italy and the mountains of Calabria. They have a long history in growing grapes (both wine and table) and a passion for drinking good wine. Reg’s father and grand father used a rock formation in the Calabrian Mountain range to hide and protect their family in the war. Here they survived and encourage their family to love life and to live it to the fullest.
Dale, married to a winemaker, son of a grape grower, and a background of forever working in the wine industry from the cellar to Sales and Marketing. His knowledge and love of wine has driven him to create the Cappa Stone brand with Reg.
The company is named after this rock formation in the Calabrian mountain range in Southern Italy. In this mountain range where their Italian grandparents fled for their lives in the war. It is a symbol of life, fulfilment and opportunity that they want to bring into this company and into the wines that are made for all to enjoy.
