  • About Us
     A family owned certified organic winery and vineyard in Perth's Swan Valley Western Australia. Established in 1998, Duncan Harris built the non irrigated vineyard and winery from scratch. The organic grapes are grown, crushed, fermented and bottled on the premises. Tastings and sales are available at the cellar door. They ship wine anywhere!
  • Our Area
     The Swan Valley is the oldest wine region in Western Australia and one of the hottest grape growing regions in the world. The region is very convenient for visitors to Perth – ideal for a day-trip as there are many attractions in the Swan Valley apart from Harris Organic Wines.
  • Our Winemaker
     Duncan Harris, winemaker and owner has been working hard to pruduce some special certified organic wines over the years from his small organic dry grown vineyard. His fortified wines are a stand-out with Gold Medals at successive Swan Valley Wine Shows in 2010 and 2011. He is also able to make certified organic brandy spirit and therefore makes the only organic fortified wines in Australia.
  • Grape Varieties
     Harris Organic and the Swan Valley specialities are Shiraz, Verdelho, Chenin Blanc and Muscat. Although our wine is well priced we are the only certified organic winery in the Perth metro area.

     Our fabulous preservative free Pedro Ximenez has always received a bronze medal when shown at the Swan Valley Wine Show. Gold Medals at successive Swan Valley Wine Shows in 2010 and 2011for the Liqueur Shiraz and the vintage Shiraz 2010.

    Springtime is absolutely beautiful in the Swan Valley - plan to come and see us!

    • Buy 12 bottles of any selected wine and get two free - or...buy six bottles to get one free (choose from Shiraz, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc or Rose Muscat). A special at the cellar door!
    • Every Sunday morning in October, enjoy a walk in the Organic Vineyard with Duncan and talk about organic growing: $10 pp. from 10-11 am, includes wine tasting. Bookings essential.
    • Taste the Swan Valley in our Organic Verdelhos, including current release dry Verdelhos and a barrel tasting of our liqueur Verdelhos. Date October 8th and Time, 2pm. Cost $10pp
