Company Information

  • About Us
KarriBindi is a family owned and operated vineyard with 32 hectares of grapes under vine. Our aim at KarriBindi is to be known and respected for producing premium quality wine grapes. Now that we consistently achieve that, our objective is to produce limited quantities of premium estate wine.
  • Our Area
The KarriBindi vineyard is located in Karridale, a premium growing area in the southern part of the Margaret River wine region. Surrounded by Karri forests, the vineyard lies on fertile Karri loam and gravel soils, typical of this area. Our southerly location, close to Cape Leeuwin, provides ideal growing conditions, allowing our grapes to benefit from slightly cooler weather than the growing areas to the north and also from the breezes blowing in from both the Indian and Southern Oceans
  • Grape Varieties
Sauvignon Blanc - perfect variety for southern Margaret River. Cooler slower ripening, resulting in fresh crisp wine with grassy tropical notesSemillon and Chardonnay- both grow extremely well, with fantastic flavour profiles in the Margaret River GIShiraz - slower ripening results in enhanced pepper and spice

  • KarriBindi Viticulturist Wins

    Posted December 14, 2010

While our wines have been winning medals and accolades for some time now, we know that the true determinant of a fine wine lies in the vineyard.  Our viticulturist, James Harris, was recently awarded the coveted Margaret River Viticultural Excellence Award for 2010. The award recognis...

  • KarriBindi Harvest Over & Autumn Monkey Wine Special

    Posted April 29, 2010

Harvest is over. It was a perfect growing season in Margaret River, with warm days and nights and very little rain through spring and summer. With some seriously hot days in Karridale throughout January and February (a couple of 39 degree days) vintage was upon us more quickly than normal. Our firs...

    Posted December 15, 2009

Due to the fantastic response to the KarriBindi competition, the great support and commitment to wine of the BoozeMonkey team and with the banner ad still flashing away at the top of the page, I feel I should make a Christmas offering to all those Sauvignon Blanc loving monkeys. As you ma...

  • KarriBindi Competition

    Posted November 26, 2009

Well, you Monkeys are active thirsty mammals. The KarriBindi competition has been up and running for only two days and it seems all the monkeys in the house are keen to wrap their hands on some crisp, fresh, citrusy, refreshing southern Margaret River Sauvignon blanc and Semillon Sauv...

How can we not love them.
KarriBindi has its vine dog - Davo.
Davo loves an all meat diet, sleeping in the car, chasing pesky birds, sticks and balls and running fast trying to beat  the utes, tractors and quad bikes.
    You can see Davo here.

Good on you Bradley. I wish you all the success. Tours make a very responsible and enjoyable way to enjoy the things most of us love; food and wine; plus they are educational of course.

And how that neck of the woods has changed. No more seaside cafe, no more Sunday sessions on the lawn at Caves house.

But the flipside is many more cellar doors and food options. As you would agree a great stretch of road to enjoy the natural elements, with a belly full.

I can't believe no-one has posted anything here yet.

Western Australia is a great holiday destination in general. If you like food, wine and nature then you will not be dissapointed with a holiday to Margaret River.

You could easily spend a week or two cruising around and you would never have to drink the same wine or eat in the same restaurant twice. You can picnic by the river, by the sea or in a national park. Do some fishing or surfing.

All the time knowing that you will have a quality wine waiting for you around the corner, and around the next corner as well.

    Come on, come get some.

While we at KarriBindi only make wines with very traditional grape varieties, we are pretty excited at making it into the 2010 Companion as a 5 star winery.

Our 2008 SSB made it into the "best of" Sauv Blanc Semillon Blends and the top ten best value whites. Whats really exciting is we are listed there amongst great company.

We have had a great year with medals and it is extremely satisfying to see the passion and energy of our team rewarded. I'll drink to that!
