Established in 1972 on prime terra rossa soil, all vines on the estate are individually hand pruned ensuring maximum grape quality for their select range of premium wines. The produced consistently reflect the true characteristics of the Coonawarra exhibiting strong varietal aroma, big flavour and soft balanced tannin. Bowen Estate wines show the hallmark of the winemaking and viticultural skills of Doug & Emma Bowen that have become 'classic coonawarra' benchmarks.
