About Us
Dominic Versace's family has been associated with vineyards and wine for centuries. Carmine Versace migrated to Australia from Italy in 1950 with his wife Teresa, son Dominic and their two daughters. It was Carmine's tradition and experience that assisted him in taking up employment with Wynn's Wines.
Continuing the tradition Dominic Versace and his wife Marie established vineyards in Nuriootpa and Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. In 1980 they purchased 14 acres on the Adelaide Plains which has now become home to Dominic Versace Wines.
Dominic Versace Wines is a unique blend of the old and the new. Old world traditions and culture and new world adventurism and opportunity have seen the development of a unique range of wines. These wines, officially launched in 2000 have recieved critical acclaim for their quality and style. High quality grapes together with unrushed and dedicated winemaking, has resulted in wines that have particular style and finesse.
Dominic Versace's philosophy in grape growing and wine making is to be in harmony with nature!
