Hey thanks for the input! Gotta love all things Italian.

But we also want to know what some Booze Monkey wine lovers match their favourite Chambourcin drop with.... come on don't be shy!

A whole month dedicated to food and wine!! Heaven....

Wineries are Restaurants in the Hunter Valley are opening their doors to the public and inviting wine/food lovers to come and sample the fresh and local produce.

You can book a tour through some of the wineries and even leave with a bottle of a recently released drop or maybe sample some Shiraz (or another equally as great wine) and cheese by the fireplace. Plus there is always chocolate sampling for those with a sweeter tooth.

Check out further info from www.hvwineandfood.hvva.com.au

Should be a good month - we can't wait!

The guys here in the Cellar Door have been trying to decide what is best to match a nice glass of Chambourcin?? Any thoughts or recent experiments?

One of our Cellar Door experts Gordo, highly recommends a glass of Sangiovese (or two) with puttanesca pasta penne with tomatoes, olives, anchovies, capers and fresh parsley.
