Most northerly wine label in the Great Southern, Established in 1993. Family run and owned specialising in single vineyard wines, from the north of the Great Southern Region. John and Katie Sprigg are the owners and concentrate on detail in every aspect of the viticulture at Trevelen Farm.
Our Area
Undulating, well-drained gravel over clay. With expansive views of the Stirling Ranges to the south east. A reliable cooling sea breaze allows this vineyard to produce consistant award winning, acclaimed wines. Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon are stand out varieties for us.
Grape Varieties
Riesling (dry and sweet), Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz,Always renowned for outstanding Riesling with Aromatics of citrus blossom and palate of ripe lime and meyer lemon predominating in most seasons.The Cabernet Sauvignon vines are beginning to exert their regionality with their age since planting being 17 years .

Almost all varieties every year win medals both here and overseas.2009 saw a trophy and Gold medals for Riesling (dry) and Gold for 2007 Shiraz.Silver medals for Merlot. Bronze medals for all other varieties, at Hong Kong, New Zealand and major Australian Shows like Hobart International and Melbourne Royal.
