Personal Information

  • About Me
Amateur wine critic with no real idea about wine, but definitely enjoying learning about it.

More About Me

  • I love...
Movies, music, good food, good conversation. I also work in advertising and like to think I'm keeping fit.
  • Rants
Criticism and negativity. Never really liked the two.
  • Favourite Wine
Changes all the time, depending what food I'm eating it with. Just discovered Chambourcin. Blown away. Reds, normally go for a peppery cab sav / shiraz, whites generally steer clear of the acidic or oaky varieties.

I had it with pan-seared scallops and a white sauce (with garlic) & a touch of dill. Was fantastic, but the first time I'd tried it so didn't know what to mix it with.

If I did it over - definitely do it with tapas (garlic prawns, spicy paella) or even better - a really good, spicy, Thai banana leaf salad... the flavours seem almost identical to that dish.

I saved half the bottle, will try tonight and report back :o)

    Happy drinking.
