Appearance A nice yellow, reasonable clarity Nose or Smell Initially quite acceptable, subtle fruity aromas, however when swirled vigorously I got a hint of hydrogen sulphide. Flavour Light and a little too dry, lacked real depth, didn't get the fruit flavours that I was expecting. Overall Impression For a Gisborne Chardonnay, I was disappointed. I paid $12.99 for this wine, down from $17.50 and I believe it to be worth no more than $8.99. Not my kind of Chardonnay, but may suit drinkers at a lower price point Posted on 13 January 2010 by Laurie | 298 Views | Write Your Own Review
