Caught Redhanded :: McLaren Vale Wine Sale
Overall Impression
Review by Alex Berry - Shepparton News : Kinloch 2010 Unwooded Chardonnay This would be considered the foremost table wine variety from the Kinlooch stable. The cool climate plays a major role in the making of these premium wines. This has been handcrafted by Malcolm Kinloch and has good weight and richness on the palate while still showing flavours in the crisp stone fruit, citrus and melon spectrum. There is a creamy mouth feel on the finish and hints of nutty almond. The wine is underpriced at $18 and will not need analysing to enjoy it; simply open, pour and sip while the sun goes down with a plate of dried fruits, antipasto or chicken.
