Review
Appearance
Deep scarlet red.
Nose or Smell
Sweet, dark fruits and stewed stonefruits, a bowl of berries with a touch of white pepper and some spices with well integrated oak.
Flavour
Mouthfilling, juicy fruit, with dark berries and red stonefruits to the fore. Medium to full bodied - the palate has some ripe, velvety tannins with all elements complimenting each other equally.
Overall Impression
Well balanced, good intensity, great length and well balanced complexity. A pleasure to drink, and one definately worth getting hold of.
Final Word
Another cracking Shiraz from Adelaide Hills - The Ledge from Chain of Ponds delivers across the board. 92/100
